How do I know when school is closed due to poor weather?
We follow Cuyahoga Falls School District, so if they are off we will be also. Also we will post on class dojo.
How long is the school year?
Classes run from mid-September to mid-May.
When is Tuition due?
Tuition for the first month of school is due to the program by August 1st, starting September it will be due on the 15th of the month for the rest of the payments.
Is there a registration fee for the program?
Yes, there is a $100.00 non-refundable fee that will be submitted along with your registration form. Once this is handed in your spot in the class is held.
Who do I make checks payable to?
Checks should be made payable to The Church in Silver Lake Preschool
Will tuition be refunded for absences?
Tuition will not be refunded due to absences/inclimate weather days. Since we accept a limited enrollment, we cannot operate on a fluctuating budget.

Do you provide transportation?
No, transportation is provided by parents or other caregivers. During field trips parents will provide transportation for their own child.

The Church in Silver Lake Preschool is a non-profit organization (501c3) and our tax code is 34-1102436.
Do you offer additional programing?
We offer a lunch club for students that takes place for 45 minutes. We help students with developing a sense of independence in the lunch setting, sitting still while eating meals, opening their own items and cleaning up after themselves. Cost for this is $5.00 a day or 3 days for $12.00.
What does a typical day like in your classrooms?
During a typical day, the students will engage in calendar time (weather, days of the week months of the year, story time, pledge of allegiance, spanish and sign language), lining up, music, snack time, art/craft and free play/outdoor time.
What do you do for security?
The Preschool entrance doors as well as the church doors are locked at all times. Visitors may only enter after being let in by the program director, lead teacher, or secretary of the church. Each classroom door also locks from the inside. We are located right next door to the Silver Lake Police Department and are blessed to have them frequently at the doors greeting the students and parents at drop off and pick-up times.
